After the success of their last show, February’s Mardi Gras Burlesque Spectacular, Marian’s Brooklyn and burlesque performer Persé Fanny are excited to present their next collaboration, Glam Jam: Live Jazz and Burlesque. Glam Jam will take place on April 29, 2022 from 8:30pm to 11:30pm at Marian’s Brooklyn, 108 Patchen Ave, Brooklyn. The show burlesque by Rosie Cheeks, The Maine Attraction, and Persé Fanny accompanied live by Paul Goldfinger Quartet. Jazz and burlesque will fill the first two hours of the night, and a jazz jam session will end the night from 10:30pm to 11:30pm. The show is free and reservations are not required. Food is available for purchase throughout the show.

“Jazz and burlesque have a long history together,” says Persé Fanny, who spent years performing burlesque alongside live jazz bands on Bourbon Street, New Orleans. “There’s a playfulness that’s inherent to both. When you get skilled jazz musicians and burlesque performers together, it’s a treat for audiences.”

Persé Fanny is a Brooklyn based performer and producer. Persé is the producer and Artistic Director of NOLA Nerdlesque Festival, a nerdy burlesque festival founded in 2015 and based in New Orleans. www.persefanny.com

Marian’s Brooklyn is a jazz and cocktail bar located in Brooklyn’s Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood. Opened in 2021, Marians’ Brooklyn features live jazz and other events multiple times each week.

Paul Goldfinger Quartet is led by Paul Goldfinger, a Brooklyn based bassist, teacher, and recording artist. Paul is recognized for his creativity and versatility as a bassist and composer. He is also known for his ability to have fun with his bandmates and audiences. Also in the quartet are Adam Ray, Ravi Campbell, and Jillian Grace.
